La Trilogie, the Rives-Blanques blend of Limoux’s permitted grape varieties (chardonnay, chenin and mauzac) is moving in high circles.
Last week it was selected by the Revue du Vin de France’s columnist, Antoine Gerbelle, for a gala dinner at the Violon d’Ingres in Paris. Just two steps from the Eiffel tower, this chic eating place carries the signature of the celebrity stellar chef Christian Constant.
This week, La Trilogie flies to London to be presented at Rosemary George’s (MW) master class on the Great Languedoc White Wines.
And next week, it will be presented by Marcus del Monego, the Best Sommelier of Germany, winner of the Best Sommelier in the World title, and Master of Wine. He will be pouring La Trilogie at a tutored dinner in Dusseldorf’s Liedberger restaurant.
