The authoritative guide to French wines, the Guide Hachette, published its 2021 selection of 10,000 wines out of 40,000 tasted this month, and Rives-Blanques was named as “one of the very good addresses of the appellation, that takes really good care of its grapes”. The famous guide awarded two stars to our “vibrant” Chenin blanc Dédicace 2018, and one star to the Chardonnay “that entices”, Odyssée, of the same vintage.
The rich and structured Odyssée, with its aromas of ripe yellow fruit and acacia honey, already has much to offer, they say, “but also promises great things for the future”.
Dédicace is a “tightly chiseled and luminous wine”, which distinguishes itself for a “genuine minerality animating the finish of this great white wine, and which will particularly be enjoyed by wine aficionados, with its promise to age gracefully.
Speaking about the appellation in general, they added: “The efforts of the dynamic Limoux team have been rewarded”.
