The new edition of the famous “Green Guide” to French wines came out with its selection of the best 7000 wines of over 30,000 tasted across all appellations throughout the land.
Of all the white wine grapes grown in the Languedoc, Chardonnay was the incontestable star, they said. “It can be quite remarkable in Limoux, from its high altitude vineyards” they added.
The complete Rives-Blanques range was included in this guide, with the ‘joyful’ sparkling wines getting a special mention for their “generosity.. fine bubbles … and élan”.
Please note: all the vintages mentioned in the Guide are sold out.
