The Rives-Blanques chardonnay today wrested two silver medals from the heartland of that great grape variety, Macon. The Concours des Grands Vins de France, reputedly the biggest wine competition in the world (11048 wines this year) doled out 29 medals to the white wines of Languedoc-Roussillon … of which two were for the Rives-Blanques chardonnay, Odyssée.
The 59-year old wine competition this year awarded a silver medal to two vintages: the 2008 and the 2009.
