The 2011 edition of France’s famous wine guide, the Guide Hachette des Vins, awarded a star to two Rives-Blanques sparkling wines, and selected two of its still wines in its newest updated edition.
“Back in 2005, we already said they would have a great future” the respected Guide said, “and we were not wrong”.
Every single vintage from Rives-Blanques since its first, in 2001, has been acknowledged by the Guide. The 2011 edition, however, marks the first time that a wine from the four appellations made by Rives-Blanques was included. These appellations are: AOC Blanquette de Limoux, AOC LImoux Blanc, AOC Crémant de Limoux, and Vin de Pays d’Oc.
