The respected French wine magazine, La Revue du Vin de France, has completed its colossal task of tasting the wines from all the country’s appellations.
We are extremely proud to be included in its selection of the best wines of the year for the fourteenth consecutive year without exception.
“2014 was a complicated vintage for this frontier region caught between Mediterranean and Atlantic influences” they said. “But in the end, it was a year for the whites, which are full and fresh.”
“One of the best whites of the year in Limoux was Occitania … and it was a mauzac!”, they added, with a detectable note of surprise.
And they put it at the top of the Languedoc wines driven by fruit in a vintage marked by high acidity.
