Brian Elliott, food and wine writer of the respected national newspaper Scotsman on Sunday, reviewed some wines produced by the Outsiders, a dynamic and highly motivated group of Languedoc winemakers who have come to the region from elsewhere in this weekend’s edition.
The Rives-Blanques “impressive apple and quince-based Blanquette” was outshone by our “frankly superb” still mauzac, Occitania, one of the “two revelations” he discovered among the Languedoc white wines.
