Tamlyn Currin, talented member of Jancis Robinson’s dream team, published the results of her tasting of the “blazing diversity” of wines made by those “disparate immigrants”, the Outsiders: winemakers who came to the region from elsewhere on jancisrobinson.com.
“Mouth-filling and thrilling” she wrote of our chardonnay, Odyssée 2002, a fourteen-year old white wine from the Languedoc that she found “very hard to spit”.
The 2014 chenin blanc, Dédicace, was memorably described as “woven with flavours that shift like sunlight on the leaves”.
