Le Limoux 2015, our blend of Chardonnay, Chenin blanc and Mauzac, was selected by “Terre de Vins” for its January 2019 issue, which featured 90 organic and sustainable wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon. The jury awarded 17 points to this “wine that is the quintessence of its fresh climate”. It was one of only two white wines awarded the jury’s ‘coup de coeur’.
“The texture of this blend is deliciously round full, made sublime by grilled notes”, they said.
They recommend it with duck à la Limoux, with garlic and saffron.
Erratum: The magazine erroneously qualified Le Limoux as organic; although Rives-Blanques has since gone back into organic viticulture, Le Limoux 2015 was made according to the sustainable precepts of Terra Vitis.
