The de Telegraaf’s resident wine columnist Pieter Nijdam blind-tasted a number of sparkling wines, champagnes and cavas with the Editor of PersWijn, Ronald de Groot, and published their selection in today’s edition of the leading Dutch daily newspaper. “This is a special fizz based on the local mauzac grape” they said. “Pear flavours, mild and juicy, ripe with a touch of bitters and acidity; generous, very lively” they added.
