The eminent Jancis Robinson participated in a tasting of top wines from Vouvray, the heartland of chenin blanc, and published her findings in her Purple Pages. We are honoured that our botrytised chenin blanc, « which showed extemely well despite its youth », was included in such august company alongside those legendary names. « Varietal, » she wrote of our sweet chenin blanc, » with very clean honeyed flavours ». Coming so soon after her complimentary comments on our still Limoux chenin, Dédicace, this seems to confirm that the Rives-Blanques terroir is indeed ideally suited to this grape variety.
