A completely comprehensive review and rating of « the best wines in one of the world’s finest sources of well-priced, hand-made wines » was published by Jancis Robinson. The four-part series covering the most notable of the fizz, white, rosé and red wines from Languedoc-Roussillon concluded today with Tamlyn Currin’s review of the region’s sweet wines. She ended her epic tasting trip through the world’s biggest wine region with the words « The producers of the South of France have become very serious indeed over the last 15 years ».
